30 Days of Blogging Honesty – Day 1

The one thing that it seems like everyone else on the planet is into but I just cannot stand is …

Justin Bieber. Sorry bieberfans but I cannot stand the squeaky voiced “teen wonder”. His music is appaling and his verses are as well thought as a small kid putting fingerprints on a canvas.Justin Bieber

I appreciate the effort of putting himself out there and working for his food but I’m entitled to a view and my view is totally in the other direction. I mean, I grew up with Queen, Abba and am a massive fan of Evanescence and Kings of Leon. I listened to headbopping music, chill out music, rock, punk and loadsa ballads (being a girl and all) and listened to beautiful poetry/lyrics that made my heart ache and my eyes tear up (only on Elton John’s Candle in the Wind).

Seriously, how can you compare a love song like :

Dear my love, haven’t you wanted to be with me
And dear my love, haven’t you longed to be free
I can’t keep pretending that I don’t even know you
And at sweet night, you are my own
Take my hand

We’re leaving here tonight
There’s no need to tell anyone
They’d only hold us down
So by the morning light
We’ll be halfway to anywhere
Where love is more than just your name

(Anywhere, Evanescence)

to :

Oh, for you I would have done whatever
And I just can’t believe we ain’t together
And I wanna play it cool, but I’m losin’ you
I’ll buy you anything, I’ll buy you any ring
And I’m in pieces, baby fix me
And just shake me ’til you wake me from this bad dream
I’m going down, down, down, down
And I just can’t believe my first love won’t be around

And I’m like
Baby, baby, baby oooh
Like baby, baby, baby nooo
Like baby, baby, baby oooh
I thought you’d always be mine (mine)

Baby, baby, baby oooh
Like baby, baby, baby nooo
Like baby, baby, baby oooh
I thought you’d always be mine (mine)

(Justin Bieber, Baby)

He got famous by chance, he got all the 12-13 prebuscent girls fantasising about him and as he grew up with them, his audience kinda remained there. The good part is when these chicks reach adulthood, they’ll be like “Wha’? Who’s Justing Bieber?”. I can’t wait!

I was laughing the other day at a Cleveland Show episode (the dude from Family Guy) when they had a Justin Bieber concert to catch pedofiles! Lol – Men over 40 going to concerts of Justin Bieber must be either gay or pedos.

Now, to be completely mean, I know a few jokes:

  • Miley Cyrus shaves more often than Justin Bieber.
  • Police are now using Justin Bieber’s songs as torture devices.
  • Q. What’s the difference between Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga ?
    A. One of them has balls and it ain’t Bieber.
  • How do you call a guy with a small penis? Just-In

If you don’t agree with me and you love tiny boys, what can I say? Haters gonna hate.

  1. i’m no fan of JB too but i have no issue with those who do. to each his own right. loved the jokes though 😀

  2. hahaha… I only like one Justin Bieber song and he was just featured on it. It was the eenee meenee minee moo lover something with sean kingston.

to all justine bieber fans out there, please don’t hate.

  3. I would say I am one of those JB-natics. But I am definitely not one of those JB-holic. What’s the difference? well, I do like JB’s songs but I am not ‘drooling’ over JB ,himself.

But, I admit, when I first saw him on Myx (it’s a music channel here) I was like.. this kid will be popular! 😀

  4. I am definitely not a fan of Bieber. His music annoys me, it’s way too bubble-gum-poppy for my liking. I can definitely see the annoyance. But then I look back 13 years ago, and Backstreet Boys, N’Sync and 98 degrees invaded the radio and I loved them. And the older generations complained about how it’s not “real music”. So I suppose every younger generation has some (or more) annoying poppy trend that us older folks won’t ever get. I dont like Bieber, but I do admire the fact that he can actually sing and I hope once he gets older and his voice eventually drops, he’ll be able to write something with a little more substance.

Maybe I have to mildy defend him because he’s Canadian and so am I. But I guess the states has its share of annoying younger pop folk too to contend with (Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha…)

Haha the Miley Cyrus shaving joke almost had coffee come out of my nose!!

    Great post!!

    1. I was oscilating between Justin Bieber and that parrot Nikki Minaj. She’s weird. But JB is easier to make fun of than the grammatically incorrect NM 🙂

  5. Right on! I can’t take him seriously when he sings about Love and breakups and heartache. Really? You’re 12. Get over it.

    1. So true, I can’t believe the large number of depressive 13yr olds who think that there is nothing else to look forward to in life and are really ff.kked up over a breakup. I know I sound like an old grandma when I talk about “kids when I was younger” but I can definitely say that watching these young ones now makes me shudder **

  6. LOL… too funny. I feel the dame way, But you know what, don’t tell anyone, but I have a couple of his songs on my iPod. I just have them on there because I’m on a quest to get as many songs as I can. I don’t listen to all of them… maybe one or two of them… shhhh, don’t say a word! LOL

  7. Hahaha. I understand people not loving the Biebster. I don’t consider myself a fan of his, but I do enjoy some of his songs. I can’t help it, they’re catchy and fun to sing-a-long with.

Yes he’s not on the same level as some other musicians, but no one (other than beliebers) is saying that he is. His music isn’t going to change the world, but it’s fun and it’s catchy. I respect him for all the criticism he puts up with and for the fact that he’s still the kid he was when he was just a normal boy making videos and having fun. Say all you want about his music and his fans, but the kid works hard and he loves his fans.

  8. HAHAHAHAHHA

We have the same answer! :))

He might deserve all the attention, fans and blessings and even praises but I will can never really take him seriously (along with M.Cyrus)
